Location Manager - Residential Services-- Full-Time (1.00 WTE) - Permanent - Railpark Team This service is currently based across three community based residential homes in North Kildare which currently supports 4 individuals. The Manager will mentor and lead staff teams to promote the wellbeing of those supported, across all locations ensuring that they achieve a high quality of life. The Manager will partnership with individuals supported to help them achieve purposeful and meaningful visions for their lives, supporting the residents to build their capacity and champion interdependence. They will empower and promote personal development, and focus on meaningful service delivery, within the context of the quality-of-life model both in their homes and within their community. The successful candidate will pursue and promote initiatives which promote independence, personal and social development, education & employment possibilities and leisure groups within the context of a Quality Framework. They will audit and oversee that the relevant documentation is maintained within the team, to ensure that practical resources and strategies are implemented to support a person with Autism's communication and thinking. Assessment documentation for social, healthcare and personal development must also be maintained, ensuring that details collated are of value and then utilised to support and develop progress plans. The Manager will also be responsible for roster administration and related responsibilities such as leave and payroll submissions. Location managers will support high quality service delivery through day to day management, induction, probation, supervision and appraisal. The Manager will liaise with relevant multidisciplinary groups to support and progress each individual to ensure that each reach their full potential. The Manager will oversee the three HIQA registered residential homes within this team to ensure standards and guidelines are upheld within the Designated Centre. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and will work as an integral part of the Regional Team. Essential Qualifications: Third level Qualification in Social Care or a related discipline Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and use of internet and email Four years recent experience in the social care/disability sector Essential Criteria: Excellent communication and engagement skills. Ability to promote independence in individuals with support needs. A full, clean driving licence. Have access to their own Vehicle A thorough understanding of HIQA regulations. Must be eligible for CORU Registration. Desirable Criteria: Management Qualification Experience in a similar role Experience managing staff and possess the confidence to resolve issues as they arise at local level Experience managing budgets for their household as agreed by the Finance Dept Manage the rolling rosters and allocate staff as per service needs or requirements A knowledge of HIQA regulations, New Directions guidelines and relevant legislation Ability to support and drive change management Confidence and experience negotiating and liaising with external stakeholders Experience of Adult Safeguarding Have knowledge and experience supporting people with Autism.
