We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to cover the areas of Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
This is a Permanent, Part-Time, 10.5 hours contract.
Starting Salary: €88,543 - pro-rata - DOE

The role of the Senior Clinical Psychologist will be to assume responsibility for psychological assessment of clients within the Organisation and potential clients, involved in the design and provision of rehabilitation programmes and support of clients, families, staff and others, provide professional/clinical support to other frontline professions as appropriate, and to develop new innovative responses on behalf of the Organisation to the needs of clients with ABI Ireland and their families in the general community.
Essential
* Have a university degree or diploma to a QQI level 8, recognised by the PSI, to a 1st or 2nd class honours standard.
* Have a post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the PSI.
* Demonstrate application of clinical competences to working with the care group applied for.
* Have at least 5 years relevant post-graduate experience.
* Driving licence - with access to own car - travel is required.
* Possess a high standard of professional attainment.
* Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the post.
* It is desirable that the candidate has specific skills and experience in the assessment of and intervention with people with neurological and other physical diagnosis.
Desirable
* Post qualification experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions.
* Experience in provisions of support using a Positive Behaviour Support approach.
* Experience in formal neuropsychological assessments and interventions with people with neurological or other physical diagnosis.
* Evidence of participation in continuous professional development.
* Knowledge of the relevant disability-related legislation and standards or practice.
* Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* An ability to manage workload, perform under pressure and achieve deadlines.
