We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale SAP program with our client. This is a long-term role requiring expertise in managing complex SAP implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Leadership: Direct and oversee the SAP program to align with business goals.
* Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans including scope, schedule, and budget.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior management and key stakeholders for successful delivery.
* Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
* Change Management: Implement strategies for smooth SAP adoption.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on program performance.
* Lead and manage project teams from Initiation through Go-live and transition to BAU. Particular focus on establishing appropriate governance structures at the outset of the project.
* Create and manage project plans ensuring appropriate feedback and buy-in from all functional groups.
* Proactively assess project issues and facilitate mitigation plan to ensure project success.
* Present status updates and report on potential issues and mitigation plans to the steering group.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PMP or Master’s preferred.
* Experience: 10+ years in project management, 5+ years in SAP implementations in manufacturing.
* Technical Skills: Expertise in relevant SAP modules and project management tools.
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience of best-practice project management methods. PMP certification is an advantage.
* Experienced in managing projects in a matrix organisational structure.
* Experience of dealing with and managing third-party consultants in a project implementation.
* Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
