We are hiring CNM2- Oncology Day Unit into a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Monitors and evaluates patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care unit to ensure that competent, compassionate, and efficient care is provided effectively.
* Recruits and maintains skilled, empathetic employees while maintaining high performance standards and fostering fair labour practices.
* Promotes a caring work environment by the availability of safe equipment and adequate supplies in an effectively organised physical setting.
* Operates and participates in continuous quality improvement and risk management programmes at the unit level, working together with multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Attends staff meetings, analyses emails, and checks other postings.
* Improves the collegial consultant-nursing interaction by acknowledging the importance of creating a respectful working environment.
* Monitors fiscal budget to control operational and capital expenditures while monitoring and adjusting staffing patterns to improve unit productivity.
Requirements
* The NMBI General Nurse licence is still valid. Oncology nursing qualification recognised after registration.
* Have a postgraduate qualification in oncology nursing.
* Preferably have a post-graduate management qualification.
* Five years of clinical experience and two years of progressive managerial experience are necessary.
* Three years' experience in an oncology day unit is essential.
