· Automate everything – develop automation scripts using Python, Unix Shell, and PowerShell to optimise deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
· Improve system observability – implement best practices for logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning to identify and resolve issues proactively.
· Containerisation and orchestration – manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and other orchestration tools to streamline deployments.
· Incident response and troubleshooting – diagnose and resolve infrastructure and network-related incidents, preventing potential failures before they impact users.
· Collaborate on reliability and security – work closely with development teams to integrate reliability, scalability, and security into the software development lifecycle.
· On-call and continuous improvement – participate in on-call rotations and proactively seek ways to reduce operational toil and enhance system resilience.

· 3+ years of experience managing cloud technologies and services, with a strong emphasis on AWS.
· Expertise in managing enterprise system environments, including package installations, automation, and system administration.
· Proficiency in Python, Unix shell scripting, and PowerShell (experience with additional programming languages is a plus). Knowledge of design patterns and coding principles is necessary.
· Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and IP networking, including routing, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
· Familiarity with Elastisearch.
