5* Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort is currently recruiting a Night Assistant Manager to join our dynamic night team. Live-in staff accommodation is available with this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare for each shift by ensuring awareness of all information through handovers with the PM and AM shifts.
2. Handle late guest check-ins and early morning departures according to Resort standards.
3. Perform duties in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards. Be familiar with the hotel's SOPs.
4. Perform bell staff duties when required.
5. Be knowledgeable about daily Resort operations and events.
6. Lead by example in answering the phone within 3 rings and maintaining proper etiquette.
7. Represent the Resort professionally, courteously, and efficiently.
8. Report potential loss situations and safety hazards to prevent or address issues.
9. Assist with supervision and application of the key control system.
10. Ensure the completion of the night audit and report any issues with Hotsoft or Volante.
11. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the front and back of house areas.
12. Handle room service calls and wake-up calls during the night as per standards.
13. Maintain security and hotel records as instructed.
14. Comply with Health and Safety, Fire, and Hygiene regulations, ensuring staff awareness and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience in a 4-5* property.
2. High attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency with office PC applications.
5. Ability to delegate tasks and multitask effectively.
6. Working knowledge of Hotsoft or similar room management systems.
