Statkraft has an ambitious growth target within renewable energy in Europe, and one of Unit Reporting Irelands key roles is to provide shared accounting services to a growing number of entities. Today Unit Reporting Ireland provides financial reporting services within the Statkraft Group to 60 subsidiaries in Ireland.As a financial accountant; your main responsibilities will be:Assist with preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS alongside Reporting ManagerLiaise with external auditors alongside Reporting ManagerEnsuring the Statkraft Ireland accounting policies are aligned to the wider Statkraft Group and implement policies ensuring accurate reflection in the accountsJoint preparation of group reporting alongside other members of the teamMaintain Local GAAP accountsSAP Analytics Cloud reportingAssisting with Blackline preparation and highlighting any reconciliation issuesAssisting with PO compliance and PO set upPreparation of corporation tax returns alongside external tax consultantsPreparation of IXBRL accounts and liaise with external tax advisors alongside Reporting ManagerAssisting with Tax PlanningAny other Ad-Hoc work requiredQualificationsQualified AccountantMinimum University degree in accountancy, finance or similar with documented experience in the fieldMinimum 3 years relevant work experience in a similar fieldExperience to the areas of CT, VAT, RCT, Employment taxesStrong knowledge desired on applications including SAP, Accurri or other financial statement software, MS Excel and other MS applicationsAbility to adapt to other new software and systemsAnalytical, process and result-oriented with a strong focus on orderliness, structure and planningIndependent self-starter with a clear ability to manage a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues, while prioritizing tasks and effectively juggling competing deadlinesExcellent communication skills in EnglishAdditional InformationA career with Statkraft is a career filled with purpose – meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities, and the future.
