Purpose of Role: Scientific Technical Lead
The Scientific Technical Lead develops and manages technical change projects to drive continuous improvement and innovations. This role leads a team and ensures alignment on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Testing, product variations, investigating changes to product impact and reactions.
* Developing and managing technical change projects to enhance department efficiency and capability, aligning with business needs.
* Providing effective leadership, planning, inquiry, and communication skills.
* Collaborating with R&D, Site and Division Technical and Engineering, and Site and Division Quality Assurance to represent the site in both daily operations and long-term commitments.
* Spearheading project/program financial goals in support of business objectives.
* Investigating complex processes and problems to determine areas of improvement and risk.
* Providing mentoring and guidance regarding technical and organizational areas.
Qualifications and Experience
This role requires a 3rd level qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent related discipline, preferably with electrochemistry qualification. Three years of previous experience in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment, along with three to five years of Technical Operations Supervisory experience, are preferred.
Strong technical decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as skilled leadership, planning, analysis, and communication skills, are essential for this role.
