Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Chartered Clinical/Educational Psychologists to join our teams at Sensational Kids Child Development Centres in Kildare, Cork, Mayo or Monaghan.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioural functioning of children and adolescents.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilising evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
* Collaborate closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
* Offer consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate understanding of developmental and psychological issues and to promote effective strategies for support.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant records in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and contribute to the ongoing development of services at Sensational Kids.
Requirements:
* A doctorate in educational psychology or a doctorate in clinical psychology or a doctorate in counselling psychology.
* Registered with the PSI as a psychologist.
* ADOS training and experience of providing autism diagnostic assessments desirable.
* Registration as a Chartered Clinical / Educational Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or relevant professional body.
* Minimum of [2] years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice, preferably working with children and adolescents.
