The Springfield Hotel, a key member of the iNUA Collection, is seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to lead our corporate and events sales efforts. About the Role
As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in proactively developing corporate, meetings, and events (M&E) revenue streams. You'll work closely with the General Manager, Group Director of Sales (GDOS), and the iNUA Group Marketing team to drive innovative campaigns, attract new clients, and ensure the success of our business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy & Development:
o Plan and implement M&E and corporate sales campaigns in line with the annual business plan.
o Generate leads through proactive sales activities and achieve annual revenue targets for Corporate Room and M&E business.
o Contract new corporate accounts and renew existing corporate rate agreements annually.
o Conduct 10-12 proactive sales appointments weekly, focusing on corporate and M&E business.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Develop relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and meeting/conference organizers.
o Organize and attend client appreciation events, trade shows, and business networking events.
o Manage and grow the hotel’s corporate client database through the CRM system.
* Lead Conversion & Event Sales:
o Work closely with the M&E Executive to convert event leads into confirmed bookings.
o Proactively sell event spaces for corporate and private events.
* Marketing Collaboration:
o Coordinate quarterly marketing campaigns in collaboration with the iNUA Group Marketing Team.
o Develop a content calendar for social media and ensure timely delivery of materials for marketing initiatives.
* Reporting & Analysis:
o Report monthly on sales metrics and performance to hotel owners and stakeholders.
o Collaborate with the Group Business Development Manager on national corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) projects.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a 4-star hotel.
* Strong knowledge of the Dublin Corporate and MICE markets.
* Excellent guest care skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Proactive and creative personality with excellent communication and networking skills.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
