Job Title: Calibration Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team in Bangor, County Down.
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for managing the full calibration process, including booking, testing, reviewing results, and invoicing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full calibration process, including booking, testing, reviewing results, and invoicing customers.
* Maintain accurate calibration records throughout the process.
* Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
* Monitor stock levels, order necessary parts, and prepare stock items as required.
* Coordinate with third-party couriers for special deliveries when needed.
* Assist in refining and improving inspection and calibration procedures.
* Work effectively within deadlines and budget constraints.
* Support trade counter and warehouse operations as needed.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria:
* Strong communication and telephone skills.
* Confident and proactive in handling challenging situations.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Capable of managing workload effectively under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
* GCSE or equivalent qualification in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Desirable Skills:
* Interest in electronics.
* Previous experience in a similar industry.
