Liaison Officer Our client, a public sector body is looking to hire a Liaison Officer on a temporary 3 month, 35 hours per week contract based in Galway. Duties and Responsibilities Administration ?Be responsible for the provision of statistics as requested. ?Ensure that all administrative systems are in accordance with guidelines, polices and to the highest standards. ?Maintenance of information, and document retention for all duties laid out under the Act Legal ?Meet all obligations as laid down under the Disability Act 2005, receive Assessment Reports from the Assessment Office, prepare Service Statement in accordance with the Act, along with adhering to the regulations, orders, protocols and guidelines made under the provisions of that Act as laid down by the HSE. ?Meet all relevant obligations resulting from the implementation of the Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004. ?Work within the Corporate Governance Framework in the setting, monitoring and maintaining of standards of care within the service and within the legislation relating to health and social care in health service provision Candidates must hold ?A relevant third level qualification (NFQ Level 7 or above) on the National Framework of Qualifications maintained by Quality and Qualifications Ireland or equivalent qualification. and ?Experience of working in a Health Care environment and ideally with people with disabilities in an administrative capacity Skills: Planning and Organising ?Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management and importance of value for money ?Demonstrate ability to manage deadlines and effectively handle multiple tasks ?Demonstrate the motivation and commitment to pursue ongoing professional and service development.
