Key Requirements:
1. Flexible with hours
2. Experience with Opera preferable but not essential
3. Administration experience
4. Highly motivated with a positive attitude
5. Strong leadership, time management, and organisational skills
6. Attention to detail is a must
Duties:
1. Manage telephone and email enquiries
2. Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
3. Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
4. Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of properties facilities and processes
6. Ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings
7. Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no-show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate
8. Deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner
9. Address any guest complaints, queries, and suggestions quickly and efficiently
10. Adhere to all Company policies including but not limited to Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Cash Handling, etc.
11. Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing, and Employment
12. Use onsite computer systems including Hotsoft, Availpro & ResDiary
13. Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations
14. Attend hotel meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels
15. Ensure all business standards and reservations plans are followed in line with policies set out
16. Work as part of a team
