Here, you will make an impact by:Lead route optimisation strategies using data analytics, cost benefit analysis to optimise the logistics network. Establish working relationships with logistics partners including monthly business reviews (MOR) route optimisation and cost optimisation.Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation networks, including carrier selection, modes of transportation, and distribution channels utilising cost benefit analysis to determine optimal routing and service levels.Lead project activities related to route optimisation liaising cross functionally with sourcing, operations, regulatory, quality and legal to define project scope, plan and execution encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Own the EMEA service performance utilising data analytics, root cause determination, pareto analysis and trending to determine issues affecting service levels working with vendors and cross functionally to drive service enhancements.Own and manage service level metrics across regions, countries, divisions, and modes of transport communicating effectively across internal customersEnsure delivery quality meets organizational standards, identifying and resolving performance issues.Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and achieve cost savings.Develop and execute transportation strategies that align with organizational goals and anticipate future needs.Manage various transportation planning, policy, operations projects.Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Document the routing of all materials across business units, ensuring clarity and efficiency.Your Skills and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in high volume organization in logistics, transportation, and distribution center management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
