Account Executive Job Description
We are recruiting for an Account Executive on behalf of a leading wholesaler in the decorating, hardware, homeware, and gardening markets.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure a seamless order-to-delivery experience.
* Support and drive EBITDA growth through revenue optimisation, cost efficiency, and process improvements.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all customer enquiries, delivering outstanding service and ensuring swift resolution of issues.
* Proactively engage with customers beyond issue resolution, offering support, updates, product solutions, and promotions to drive sales.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and identifying growth opportunities.
* Reduce customer churn by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and escalating relationship issues when necessary.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
* Process and share quotations with customers and follow up to support sales completion.
* Identify inefficiencies in order processing and internal workflows, recommending improvements to enhance accuracy and speed.
Person Specification
* GCSE level education in relevant fields (e.g. English, Maths, Business).
* Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
* Proven experience in an Account Management, Sales Support or Customer Service role.
* Strong knowledge of order processing, CRM systems, and sales administration.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) for reporting and communication.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

The successful Account Executive will enjoy a competitive salary circa £25,500 - £32,500 depending on experience, based in Lisburn.
