Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant/LEED AP to join our team. The successful person will work on innovative, challenging projects with industry experts as part of PM Group’s world-leading multi-discipline team.

For example, PM Group was the nominated LEED AP for a new laboratory and office development on a client's existing site. The building attained LEED Gold certification and key achievements included a 54% reduction in interior lighting energy; 52% reduction in indoor water use; 12% reduction in embodied carbon in construction, and 95% of construction waste recycled.

Responsibilities
* Manage sustainability projects from concept to handover stage
* Undertake LEED and/or BREEAM Assessments across commercial & industrial schemes from feasibility through to final commissioning
* Understand and apply current and proposed Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations)
* Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally)
* Prepare technical reports
Other team services include Climate risk assessment, Building life-cycle assessments; Building physics simulation modelling; NZEB, Decarbonisation strategies, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design strategies, Building Energy Management Assessment, Sustainability master planning & Environmental Planning, Impact Assessments & Regulatory Permitting. Candidates should also note any relevant experience & knowledge of these services.
Qualifications
* A Minimum Qualification of Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8 NQF) in Architecture /Engineering/ Environmental/ Sustainability or related subject
* Qualifications in the following; LEED AP BD&C Additional qualifications like LEED AP ID+C and/or BREEAM Assessor or BREEAM AP.
* At least 5 years’ experience as a sustainability consultant or related position
* Minimum of 2-3 projects completed through to certification
* Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable
* Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills
* Project engineering / management skills
* Proven track record of working on your own initiative
