Job Title: Assistant Cook
Due to continued expansion and increased workload, Kingsbridge Private Hospital has an opportunity for an Assistant Cook to join the catering department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet the daily needs and preferences of service users.
* Monitoring and recording critical control points, including temperature checks, cooling times, and delivery checks.
* Managing food stock levels, ordering fresh produce effectively, and minimising wastage.
* Ensuring the kitchen adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
* Demonstrating flexibility by adapting to the needs of the service.
* General kitchen and restaurant cleaning duties.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
