Supply Chain Manager
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role will involve managing inventory levels, optimizing logistics, developing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of the foodservice industry and expertise in supply chain management.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of Supply Chain for Sysco Ireland.
2. Responsible for transport vendor management and performance monitoring through defined KPIs, including managing costs, relationships, and tendering.
3. Lead and develop a dynamic team, driving continuous process and system improvements.
4. Build strong, positive relationships with senior functional management by participating in the development and implementation of supply chain solutions as well as proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
5. Effectively monitor and provide analysis of relevant metrics on various reports and take corrective action where appropriate.
6. Identify process improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and leverage technology to streamline supply chain operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
7. Provide complete analytical support for periodic Supply Chain reviews.
8. Oversee inventory levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and avoid lost sales.
9. Collaborate with the Merchandising team to drive logistics earned income opportunities.
10. Generate revenue through initiating and managing backhaul activities, including negotiating with external vendors, collaborating with planning, operations, transport, contractors, and optimizing network to achieve revenue targets.
11. Work with European consolidation centres and transport providers to manage freight costs, increase load fill, utilize vehicles, and improve customer service levels.
12. Create an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative culture.
Requirements:
1. Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years previous relevant experience in a senior Supply Chain role.
2. Third Level Degree in Business / Procurement / Supply Chain.
3. Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment abilities.
4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
5. Strong communicator with the ability and interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid working relationships.
6. Flexible, innovative, and creative in their approach to business activities.
7. The ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
8. Advanced IT skills and systems knowledge, AX and Advanced Excel experience are essential along with mathematical competency.
9. Flexibility to travel to other sites is required.
