Legal Executive Assistant required for the Commercial Dept of a large city centre-based law firm.
The successful candidate must have impeccable attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal secretary or Legal PA to join a busy and fast-paced commercial department of a top city centre-based legal firm.
The Role:
This is a fast-paced role, and you need to have the experience to work off your own initiative. Aside from the administrative component such as file & diary management, calls and hands-on exposure to files & client management, the role involves the following:
* Assisting in the preparation of briefs, and administrative tasks including filing, organising and managing documentation.
* Prioritising tasks, possessing the ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
* Scheduling meetings, diary management, and understanding of billing.
* Coordinating travel arrangements and meetings.
* Monthly invoices and chasing aged debt.
* Ad hoc duties.
The Candidate:
* Excellent IT skills with an excellent level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Access to produce a high level of correspondence and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
* Previous legal secretarial experience in a commercial department is an advantage.
* Familiar with case management systems and experience with client billing systems.
* Digital dictation which will require accurate typing skills together with an excellent understanding of grammar and maintaining filing.
* Good communication skills and good telephone manner; ability to deal with clients when required efficiently, effectively and sensitively as a representative of the firm.
