This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Recruitment and Talent function for an excellent organisation based in Galway. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping their workforce for success.
Your new role
As the Talent Manager, you will:
* Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance the employer brand and drive strategic recruitment efforts.
* Manage a team of recruiters, showing strong people leadership and guidance.
* Develop and execute comprehensive talent management strategies, including workforce planning and training.
* Partner with managers and HR to align talent practices with organisational goals and enhance recruitment processes.
* Utilise data analytics to assess program effectiveness and offer data-driven insights to senior management.
* Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment and talent activities to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
* Liaise with the HSE HRM and other statutory agencies and bodies as appropriate to establish contacts and keep abreast of emerging policy and compliance requirements.
* Ensure to comply with all HIQA requirements in relation to the recruitment & talent function.
* Support HR staff in recruitment and talent management roles, focusing on upskilling and performance monitoring.
* Stay updated on compliance standards and national recruitment trends.
* Implement career development frameworks to boost employee growth, engagement, and retention, fostering rewarding career experiences for all.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate:
* Strong background in senior talent leadership and people management with high-volume recruitment experience.
* Proficient in people management, capable of leading and motivating teams effectively.
* Skilled in developing structured onboarding processes to facilitate seamless transitions for new employees.
* Demonstrated success in talent identification, succession planning, and leveraging data for improved recruitment outcomes.
* Experience in strategic workforce planning and translating plans into actionable steps.
* The ability to thrive in ambiguity, proactively solve problems, and exhibit a can-do attitude.
* Excellent collaboration skills, quick problem-solving abilities, and a focus on priority tasks.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Preferably holds a level 8 degree or equivalent qualification, with CIPD membership considered a plus.
