We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused part-time Shop Assistant to join our team at our Limerick store. The position will be a minimum of 20 hours per week which may include occasional Sunday work.
Shop opening hours are Monday - Saturday 09:00-18:00 & Sunday 12:00 - 16:00.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Help customers with recycling and purchasing items in the store.
3. Maintain the shop’s cleanliness and organization.
4. Stock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with product displays.
5. Process sales transactions efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
6. Provide excellent customer service and answer any queries related to products and services.
7. Work as part of a team to achieve store targets and uphold company standards.
Requirements:
1. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Friendly, approachable, and reliable.
4. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
5. A passion for sustainability and recycling is desirable.
6. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
