Background:

Role Overview:
The Head of Sales is responsible for delivering the Volkswagen Financial Services strategy through commercial success. This will be achieved by collaborating with all customer channels and steering the Sales & Direct Fleet functions to reach strategic sales objectives. The ultimate goal is to generate loyalty and a profitable relationship between the client, the dealer, the brands of the Volkswagen Group Ireland and Volkswagen Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive commercial success.
2. Identify new opportunities within sales and develop dealer incentivisation schemes.
3. Steer the sales function and manage campaign success.
4. Design sales KPI's reports/dashboards and leverage digitalisation initiatives.
5. Analyze data and provide reporting.
6. Develop and establish strategy of Direct Fleet to accomplish market-specific Fleet sales and profit targets.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of Sales Leadership experience with strong business acumen and gravitas gained in the Financial Services and/or Insurance Industry or similar environment. A strong understanding of the Financial Services industry, particularly in the areas of commercial finance, risk management, insurance, marketing, after-sales, customer care and fleet management is required.
Skills:
The role requires an assertive, proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in negotiation skills and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-moving environment. The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing and motivating a sales team with diverse functional roles to achieve sales volume targets.
Salary: The salary for this position is €85,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
