Site Manager (Relocation to Canada) A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to move to Canada (Ontario and British Columbia) and become part of the Building Division of one of Canadas Top Tier Contractors. This company is extremely busy constructing large scale projects in various sectors including High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare, Airport, Defence, and Educational developments. Life changing opportunity for the successful Site Manager who has delivered medium to large building projects previously in Ireland or the UK previously Responsibilities: Project & Construction Management: Oversee construction strategies, execution planning, scheduling, estimating, and scope strategies for subcontracts and self-performed work. Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with subcontractors, staff, and project managers regarding schedules, methods, safety, quality control, and performance standards. Financial & Contract Oversight: Manage budgets, control expenses, review billable charges, oversee project planning and buyout strategies, and ensure compliance with contract specifications. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Enforce HSE regulations, conduct risk assessments, hold teams accountable, and demonstrate HSE leadership to ensure a safe work environment. Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality plans, ensure subcontractor compliance, and hold teams accountable for quality performance. Customer & Relationship Management: Maintain positive client relationships, manage conflicts, and emphasize customer service alongside project execution. Requirements: Education & Certification: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related trade certification preferred. Experience: 10+ years in a field management role, with healthcare facility project experience as a strong asset. Project & Cost Management: Knowledge of cost/benefit analysis, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor selection, and asset management. Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of construction engineering, design, formwork, hoisting, access, and soils. Leadership & Quality Focus: Strong delegation skills, commitment to quality and safety, and ability to optimize project processes. Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office Suite, scheduling, and project management software.
