About the Role
As a Health & Safety Officer with our partner, a national residential construction firm, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining their safety management system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to successful project delivery and report directly to the Health and Safety Manager.
* Work as part of the management team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
* Monitor and enforce the implementation of the Health & Safety management system.
* Identify site-specific hazards and address them in site documentation and on-site.
* Assist site management in complying with statutory Health & Safety requirements.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
* Minimum 4 years' experience in managing safety systems in construction.
* Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Able to manage Health and Safety on-site using your own initiative within the scope of the management system.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred.
