Job Description
We are seeking an IT Administrator to join our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing IT infrastructure across multiple European locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, manage, and develop IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
* Oversee network equipment, including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.
* Evaluate and implement security measures to protect IT systems, including antivirus protection and remote access policies.
* Support end users by troubleshooting IT issues and implementing solutions.
* Develop and maintain IT documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize IT operations.
* Manage IT projects and drive improvements in systems and processes.
* Automate tasks and integrate systems to enhance operational efficiency.
* Monitor and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
* Provide IT training and support to employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT administration or support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory.
* Experience with network administration, including VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
* Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.
* Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint security and MFA.
* Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
* Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., Zendesk, Nagios).
