Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Business Resilience Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for Internal Process Auditing and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance Audits:
o Conduct regular internal audits of processes, systems, and controls to assess efficiency and effectiveness with a focus on statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., Garda vetting, Visa and immigration documentation, and modern slavery legislation).
o Analyse and assess the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes within the organisation.
* Risk Management & Process Improvement:
o Support remedial actions to address financial and reputation risks.
o Collaborate with Pillars and Shared Service departments to develop and implement corrective actions and improve internal processes for managing compliance and risk.
* Documentation and Reporting:
o Document findings from compliance audits, including gaps, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
o Prepare clear and concise reports for senior management, outlining audit results, regulatory risks, and proposed corrective actions.
o Raise awareness of potential risks associated with non-compliance and support staff in understanding their roles in maintaining legal and ethical standards.
* Compliance Monitoring:
o Continuously monitor internal controls and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with Garda vetting, Visa requirements, and modern slavery legislation.
o Regularly review the status of employee vetting, Visa records, and modern slavery statements to identify areas of concern.
o Perform spot checks and internal audits to ensure records are up-to-date, accurate, and complete.
* Collaboration with External Authorities:
o Assist in audits or investigations initiated by external bodies regarding compliance with immigration or modern slavery laws.
* Continuous Improvement:
o Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices including auditing techniques, legal compliance standards, and data protection laws.
o Suggest ways to continuously improve controls based on lessons learned from audits or testing.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years experience in Administration.
* Experience with workplace compliance audits is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO).
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Good understanding of legal requirements related to Garda vetting, immigration law, and modern slavery.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and educate staff on compliance-related matters.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), audit software, and familiarity with compliance management systems.
