We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual for the positionof Hotel Finance Administratorat The Athlone Springs Hotel.

This is an inhouse role based at The Athlone Springs Hotel .
Purpose of the Role:
The four-star Athlone Springs Hotel Hotel in Athlone is a member of the S Hotel group, comprising of 68 guest bedrooms.
Additional outlets include the Cedar Bar and Restaurant, extensive Conference and Banqueting facilities and Zen Leisure Club.
We are recruiting for a person to join our accounting department to provide strong financial accounting skills and business knowledge to the management team and to be a vital member of the accounting administration function of the Group.
Main Duties:
The role is responsible for providing effective operational financial and commercial support to the management team thus enabling better management and business controls.
Specific duties include:
Daily Revenue Reporting & Cash Balancing Weekly KPI Reporting Updating Alkimii T&A with actual and forecast data Maintaining Procure Wizard and processing all Invoices & Credits Provision of data for Monthly Stock-takes & participation in review Creditors Reconciliations & Payment Processing Accounts Receivable Collection & Guest Ledger Controls Leisure Centre Membership & Class Allocations Overhead Analysis and Review Data entry to Trial Balance Standard Capital Expenditure Controls Provide ad hoc reports to Management & Group as required
The Ideal Person:
The ideal Person would be a self-motivated, with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of Hotsoft would be an advantage.
Your Skills:
Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant / Accounting technician or Finance Graduate Strong communication and influencing skills Good Team Player Interested in providing accurate and timely information and willingness to work with HODs to understand all operational areas of the business High standard of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent skills in relation to MS Office particularly Excel Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team to motivate and enhance best practices at all times Benefits The S Hotel Group is an awarding company to work for.
