Your new company
Your new company is a global technology organization with multiple sites across Ireland. They are a recognized employer of choice and due to new business, they are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to work full time. This will be a hybrid position requiring 2 - 3 days on-site in the companies office in Waterford, and would require a full drivers license to travel to the other offices based in Wexford and Clonmel on a monthly basis.
Your New Role
To be a people and a business partner ensuring best in class delivery of employee engagement and employee care initiatives for the client. This role will also have a specific focus in handling employee grievances in a timely manner ensuring due process is followed within the requirements of the law and company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for overall BHR responsibilities for the client based out of multiple locations providing hands on expertise and oversight in the below areas:
* Employee Engagement: Plan and Drive Employee engagement initiatives for the client. Engagement initiatives include New Employee induction, Employee connect, Employee care and Employee feedback.
* Employee Retention: Identify and puts processes in place to get data to understand the key reasons for employees leaving the company and actively puts plans and solutions in place to increase employee retention.
* Employee Feedback score: Identify key HR areas which impacts employee feedback and actively drive plans towards improving the feedback scores for the client.
* Employee Grievances: Will be responsible to ensure all employee grievances is addressed in a timely manner following necessary due process for closure. Puts systems and processes in place to ensure company policies and procedures are clearly communicated in a timely manner and ensures awareness across employee groups.
* Team and Stakeholder Management: Will manage a team of around 3-4 HR associates across locations for the client providing support, guidance and mentorship. Will also be responsible to build connect and manage business stakeholder relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you will have strong experience in employee relations. Candidate must have 8-10 years of overall HR experience in a corporate set up. Candidate should have experience in attrition and retention management, hands on experience handling employee grievances, manager enablement, navigating senior leadership relations, onboarding strategy and efficiency, strong employment law experience and knowledge of relevant local nuances and bank holidays etc. and willingness to travel to the other locations within Ireland when needed.
