What you will do: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and brake inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
Learn to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Work under supervision to fix identified issues, including replacing parts, repairing systems, and ensuring the proper functioning of various vehicle components.
Shadow and assist experienced mechanics to acquire hands-on experience and practical knowledge in vehicle repair.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Gain proficiency in using various tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment essential for vehicle repairs.
Maintain records of repairs and services performed, documenting the parts used, and providing accurate information.
What you will need: GCSE Maths at Grade D or above and GCSE English at Grade E or above.
