Customer Delivery Network Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Delivery Network Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing safe network designs within your discipline. These designs will be used by ESB Networks staff and/or contractors to carry out construction work safely on the Electricity Network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing high-quality designs, calculating electrical loads, developing costs, producing design drawings, and measuring design clearances on electricity networks from LV to 38kV.
* Preparing Scopes of work, costing templates, and safety documentation.
* Recording and updating the Distribution Network on relevant IT systems.
* Maintaining commercial focus by preparing least cost technically acceptable designs.
* Liaising and negotiating with Local Authorities, landowners, and other parties to obtain routes for underground cables and overhead lines in accordance with legislation and ESB policies.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
* Knowledge of ESB IT systems.
* Understanding and application of relevant approved Quality Management standards in ESB Networks.

€48,000 to €56,000 per annum.
