Job Description
Our client, an Irish owned retail buying group across Ireland, seeks a Financial Accountant to oversee office administration and procedures. The role will involve assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciling balance sheet control accounts, and managing debtors and creditors.
Key Aspects of the Role:
* Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Board Reporting Packs
* Reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts including accruals and prepayments
* Debtor Management and Creditor Management
* Preparation of month end lead schedules for Group FC
* Preparation of Annual Budgets & Monthly Outlooks
* Reviewing costs and implementing processes identifying where savings can be made
* Review margins highlighting improvement opportunities
* Assistance in Statutory Annual Accounts Audits
* Management of Invoice Financing Facility, Returns & Audits
* Monitoring and reporting Cash Flow
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Qualified ACA
* 3+ years' experience in industry or practice dealing with industry clients
* Ambitious individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
* Experience with several ERP systems advantageous
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
