Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Carrigtwohill, Cork.
This is initially a 12-month contract with potential to run well past this duration. Shift is 7am-7pm 2x Days, 2x Nights (running Mon-Sun). Overtime and double time available when required on site.
Responsibilities
* Performs preventive maintenance tasks.
* Works on assignments that range from semi-routine to moderately complex in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
* Performs routine work with minimal guidance.
* Independently locates and diagnoses failure, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals and verbal and/or written instructions.
* Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
* Uses a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.
* Provides general maintenance support as designated by supervisor to include any or all of the following areas: Manufacturing Production.
* Coordinates maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.
* Creates or revises standard operating procedures.
* Performs multi-shift work as required.
* Is required to respond to emergency notifications via phone.
* Is able to recognise deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot.
Requirements
* 3+ years of relevant experience and Trades Certificate or Engineering Degree.
* Electrical or mechanical pneumatic experience required.
* Must have a thorough working knowledge within a cGMP regulated environment, FDA, HPRA environment.
* Familiar with Maintenance management systems.
* Excellent Interpersonal / Communication skills.
* Ability to build effective working relationships.
