About the role
We are currently recruiting for our Supported Independent Living services, supporting individuals with multiple disabilities and psychosocial support needs. Our participants reside across the Ballina and Lismore regions. This position would be ideally suited to experienced support workers seeking 30 hours per week to assist individuals with complex support needs.
We require team members who are available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, awake overnight shifts, and sleepovers across a range of locations.
About you
* Preferred Certificate III in Individual Support, with traineeships available for people who do not have an existing qualification
* Preferred experience supporting people living with disability or mental health concerns either in a paid, voluntary, or lived experience capacity
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Support NDIS participants with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, supporting people to attend medical appointments, facilitating community access, and undertaking personal and domestic activities
* Implement Individual and Behaviour Support plans, including following plans and protocols, collecting and collating data, and attending regular training sessions
* Work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, awake overnight shifts, split shifts, and weekend work
