Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Safety
o Evolve best practices for operations and maintenance of Utility systems
o Manage all contract works and 3rd party assessments including review of RAMS and safety plans
o Handle Work Permits and liaise with Engineering Administrator in compliance with site safety policies
o Uphold and upskill training of all technicians
* Utilities Management
o Sound working knowledge of key utilities like water treatment, compressed air, HVAC, Boilers, and Power Distribution
o Lead the technician teams to ensure uninterrupted delivery of utilities for plant and process
o Coordinate and maintain the current operations program
o Coordinate and maintain the current maintenance program
o Handle contractors and review their onsite practices
* Computerised System Management
o Working knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
o Working knowledge of Building Management System and tools (BMS)
o Handle Contractor Management System (CMS)
o Run Utility system reports and present to management as required
* Facility Maintenance
o Coordinate and handle 3rd party onsite Cleaning Contract
o Coordinate and handle all building maintenance works that happen onsite with the relevant contractor
o Participate in projects for upgrade of building and facilities
o Compile and document all statutory and regulatory compliance programs
* Engineering Task
o Lead the utilities technician team in day-to-day functions
o Assist the team in troubleshooting and corrective action plans
o Coordinate with other department managers to schedule work they require to be carried out, and to ensure breakdowns are attended to as a matter of urgency
Education:
* 3rd Level Degree in Engineering in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
* Advanced computer skills, knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Working knowledge of SAP/ERP system is desirable but not essential
Experience/Skills:
* Minimum 3-4 years in a similar role in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* PC literate
