Job Description:
Flexsource are currently recruiting a F&B Operations Manager to oversee the Food & Beverage operations of a busy Hotel Chain in Cork.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and evaluate a general business plan to ensure optimum guest satisfaction, sales maximization and profitability.
* Conduct weekly inspections of food & beverage regions to maintain property condition and recommend preventive maintenance.
* Assist in planning and coordinating in-house activities and package plans with Head Chef, Director of Sales & Marketing and Food and Beverage Operations Manager.
* Select and develop strategies to improve guest service, food production techniques and efficiency.
* Assist in preparing the food and beverage business plan.
* Monitor and ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest services and products within corporate standards.
* Screen, interview and select potential supervisors and team members for the department.
* Establish and maintain effective internal communications, including daily/monthly meetings with supervisors and team members, to ensure optimum team work and productivity.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage sector.
* 1-2 years of hotel management experience.
* Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days per week.
