Company Information: CREGG Recruitment is currently seeking 2x Process Technicians for our client based in Athenry, Co. Galway. Our client is a leading manufacturer specialising in high-volume automated equipment. Operating from their European Manufacturing, Distribution, and Customer Service hub, they focus on delivering innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. Role Overview: As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting high-volume automated production processes. Working closely with the Engineering Technical Lead, you will troubleshoot equipment, optimise processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for process and product technologies, ensuring seamless production operations. Set up and monitor automation machinery, minimising downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Perform preventative maintenance, equipment qualifications, and validations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in quality, service, and cost. Revise and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and other process documentation. Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and product quality. Requirements: A relevant engineering degree or diploma with additional industrial experience. Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a medical device or a related field manufacturing environment. Expertise in automated processes and technical problem-solving.
