Mechanical/Electrical QA/QC Engineer (Temporary Contractor or Permanent Role) – Leinster Area
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Electrical QA/QC Engineer for either a temporary contract or permanent position, responsible for snagging and ensuring system compliance across projects in the Leinster region.
Role Overview:
As a QA/QC Engineer, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project inspections and technical requirements are met.
This role involves working on complex, multi-disciplinary projects within a regulated environment, requiring a strong background in mechanical or electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a hands-on approach to ensuring successful project delivery.
This is primarily a site-based role.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company processes, contractual obligations, and industry regulations.Facilitate the smooth handover of projects by providing expert guidance and quality assurance.Prepare and maintain detailed reports on safety visits, inspections, and compliance records.Support commissioning teams by assessing their competency in work practices, fault-finding, quality control, compliance, and customer focus.Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.Provide constructive feedback to management regarding training and upskilling requirements.Ensure all engineers comply with health and safety regulations, and verify that issued equipment is fit for purpose.Candidate Requirements:Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory) or a time-served engineer/tradesperson.Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/QC Engineering role (preferred but not essential).Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.A proactive and solutions-driven approach to quality-related issues.Ability to produce clear and concise reports.Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint (Essential).This role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a skilled QA/QC Engineer looking to contribute to high-quality project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
