Mechanical Project Manager

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising mechanical projects in pharmaceutical construction. The role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cleanroom environments, and process piping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage mechanical pharmaceutical projects in from inception to completion.
* Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
* Ensure projects comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and progress.
* Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and financial forecasts.
* Address technical challenges and provide engineering solutions.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom environments, process piping, and pharmaceutical-grade mechanical systems.
* Experience managing projects in regulated environments (GMP, FDA, ISO 14644, etc.).
* Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time and within budget.
* Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
* Understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) best practices.
