Within our 130-person Portlaoise, Ireland manufacturing facility, Leprino Foods is seeking a Stores & Logistics Coordinator to propel our organization to new heights of operational excellence! Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain open communication with suppliers and third-party storage providers, ensuring all issues are documented and addressed promptly.
* Collaborate closely with the Quality team to track and resolve product concerns and participate in root cause analysis.
* Coordinate with internal teams, including Production, Sales, and Distribution, to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
* Oversee transport logistics for inbound and outbound deliveries, scheduling shipments according to production and customer needs.
* Ensure inventory accuracy by managing stock levels, conducting regular reconciliations, and maintaining system records.
* Organize and oversee site storage areas, ensuring proper handling of raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and detergents.
* Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring alignment with the production schedule and delivery commitments.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with department projects to enhance workflow and efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, keeping all documentation up to date and audit-ready.
* Assist in tracking supplier and hauler performance, raising any concerns to the appropriate teams.
* Monitor and report key department metrics, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with all site and department health and safety policies while promoting a culture of workplace safety.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in a manufacturing or production planning environment with a history of meeting targets.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and inventory management.
* Experience using ERP or stock control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Formal training or qualifications in Supervisory Management, Stock Management, Logistics, or a related field.
* Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
* Familiarity with SAP stock management or purchasing systems.
* Experience compiling and analyzing operational reports.
