Join our Finance Team:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated individual to join our Finance team as a Finance Assistant. This role will be responsible for supporting the processing of account balances, facilitating invoice distribution, and handling purchase orders as requested by the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Finance business unit. This is a full-time position.
What will your day look like:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in processing account balances and maintaining accurate financial records.
2. Facilitate the distribution of invoices and handle purchase orders efficiently.
3. Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to execute various financial tasks and projects.
4. Prioritize tasks effectively, escalate issues as needed, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
5. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Utilize strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver results.
7. Inspire the team with a clear vision and purpose, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
8. Make effective judgements based on available data and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
9. Influence individuals and build positive relationships across the organization.
What do you need to apply?
1. Minimum of a Standard Leaving Certificate or QQI Level 5 Major Award.
2. Professional qualifications in Accountancy or equivalent work experience.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of the finance function.
4. At least 1 year of experience in an entry-level position within the finance industry.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
7. Proven ability to make effective judgements and solve problems efficiently.
