Job Overview
You will lead a high-performance team as a technical project manager, coordinating an experienced Research and Development (R&D) team in a multi-disciplinary New Product Development project.
Responsibilities
* Lead R&D product development programs with mechanical, electronic, and software aspects.
* Coordinate and communicate with customers as the main technical interface between R&D and the customer.
* Liaise with functional leads to drive project timelines and ensure R&D planning is in place and project milestones are met.
* Ensure project timeline risks are understood, highlighted, and mitigated.
* Liaise with functional managers to compile R&D budgets.
* Present project updates to peers, colleagues, and management.
* Support other disciplines outside R&D, such as quality, process, purchasing, etc., in bringing the project to start of production.

Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project management of multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices, or similar.
* Experience in dealing with customers with the ability to interpret customer requests with clear communication.
* Fluent in English with a clear and confident communication ability.
* Extensive experience in planning of projects and use of planning tools such as MS Project.
* Direct experience of managing design validation (DV) and/or process validation (PV) programs.
* An Engineering background would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of engineering drawings and drawing control is desirable but not essential.
