Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Wexford Office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of cost plans and budget estimates.
* Value engineering, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities.
* Tender review and evaluation.
* Assessing Interim valuation payments.
* Negotiating and agreeing variations.
* Cost Reporting.
* Final account settlement.
* Reporting to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Minimum of degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar.
* Professional membership to SCSI or RICS (preferable).
* A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience within a cost consultancy environment.
* Ambitious and committed to delivering an excellent standard of work.
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
* Good reporting and communication skills.
* Experience compiling contract documentation, reports, valuations and claims.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team environment.
* MUST hold eligibility to work in Ireland.
