We are looking for an experienced Checkout Manager for one of our clients based in North Dublin you main responsibilities will be to oversee the efficient operation of the checkout area, ensuring exceptional customer service and managing staff to optimise productivity.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the checkout department.
* Supervise and train checkout staff to ensure excellent customer service.
* Schedule staff shifts and maintain adequate coverage.
* Ensure accurate cash handling and till reconciliation.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
* Implement and monitor queue management strategies.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and store policies.
* Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
Qualifications
* 1-2 years experience in retail management, preferably in a checkout department.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
