You will be responsible for engaging with prospective customers, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored technical solutions. Your technical knowledge will help drive product sales through effective solution selling, product demonstrations, and strong relationship-building with both new and existing clients.Key Responsibilities:Reach out to potential customers via cold calls, emails, and networking to understand their needs and identify opportunities for our technical solutions.Solution Selling: Leverage your technical expertise to present the features, benefits, and applications of our products/services in a clear, engaging way that aligns with customer requirements.Product Demonstrations: Conduct impactful product demos and presentations, showcasing how our solutions address key business challenges and add value.Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored sales strategies and set specific goals for targeted customer segments.Technical Support: Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support in coordination with the engineering and support teams, ensuring smooth product implementation and client satisfaction.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for technical inquiries.Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve product offerings.Regularly track and report sales activities, progress, and forecasts to the Commercial Director, ensuring accurate data capture and documentation.Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.Key Qualifications & Requirements:Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products and communicate their benefits to non-technical customers.Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar role within the security industry, IT industry or networking industry.Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of electronic security market a plus - training and guidance provided.Willingness to travel as needed.If you're interested, apply today: Brendan.rogers@noel.ieSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManufacturingIndustriesEquipment Rental Services
