Activities Therapist (Part-time)
Milesian Manor Care Home, based in Magherafelt is currently recruiting an Activities Therapist on a part-time basis (22.5 hours) to join their friendly, caring, and progressive Care Home.
This role is vital within the Home, working as a team to deliver excellent care to much-loved residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred activities, and social activities for residents.
* Plan special events and group activities, on occasion creating personalised plans for residents.
* Experience and a passion for Arts and Drama related activities.
* Facilitate opportunities for residents to spend time together.
* Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
* Must have a good command of written and spoken English.
* Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards).
* Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
* Knowledge of care of the elderly patients' Charter of Rights.
