Our client is seeking to recruit a Site Project Manager for projects in the midlands/Galway region. They are a well-established contractor and are currently working on several large multi-million energy upgrade projects. They are looking to recruit an ambitious, career-minded individual that has worked in a similar role previously (Site Manager or Site Project Manager).
Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. 10 years’ experience in site construction.
2. Previous experience of working on building or energy upgrade projects.
3. Diploma or Degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar.
4. Candidates with either an engineering or trades background will be considered.
5. Experience in coordination of subcontractors, control programme with preparation of look-ahead programmes to facilitate the successful completion of the works on time.
6. Experience and proficiency in computer literacy, preparation of progress reports, and chairing site meetings.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, Architects, and Engineers.
8. Familiarity with current Health and Safety Construction regulations.
9. Immediate start – full-time permanent position based in the west of Ireland.
10. Ability to work well within a team environment and under strict deadlines.
11. Assist with site preparations, associated consultations, and design issues.
12. Purchasing.
13. Programming.
14. Preparing project plans.
15. Attending site meetings.
16. Responsible for health and safety on site.
