Account Manager Job Description

* Salary: €40,000.00 - €50,000.00 - depending on experience.
* Commission: Performance-based 10% of sales per year.

Phonovation is Ireland’s leading provider of A2P SMS and mobile messaging. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they maximise the value of our mobile messaging solutions and SaaS products. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients optimise their communication strategies while identifying opportunities for increasing revenue and expansion. Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring continued high satisfaction and engagement levels.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for their messaging needs.
* Prepare and deliver reports on account performance, key trends, and growth opportunities.
* Monitor and analyse client usage data to provide insights and recommendations for improved performance.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Phonovation’s products and services.
* Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and continued success for clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
* Willingness to learn new skills and develop as an individual.
* Coach, guide, mentor, and support team members.
* Actively participate and contribute to team and business improvement change initiatives and projects.
Requirements
* Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in the telecom, SaaS, or mobile messaging industry.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to understand technical products and explain them to non-technical customers.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* 3rd level qualification in IT or Business, desirable.
* 5+ years in sales role with 2+ years customer empathy experience.

Location
* Hybrid working model; The successful candidate will be set up to work remotely and will also work in our offices which are located in Blackrock, occasionally for training and engagement purposes. Parking is available offsite.
