Regional Manager – Ireland
Location: Field-Based (Can be based anywhere in Ireland)
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hrs/Mon-Fri, (on occasion weekend work needed throughout the year)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead and manage the sales efforts in Ireland, with the goal of achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and leading a dynamic sales team to success.
The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a passion for success and a proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
o Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet targets and objectives.
o Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
o Ensure alignment with national sales goals and strategies.
o Coordinate and facilitate sales meetings and training sessions.
2. Team Leadership & Management
o Lead, motivate, and support a field sales team across Ireland to achieve targets.
o Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews.
o Provide ongoing training and development, identifying gaps to improve team effectiveness.
o Maintain close communication and offer support during field visits.
3. Customer Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
o Represent the company at trade shows, regional events, and networking opportunities.
o Foster collaboration with the Irish Distributor to drive mutual success.
4. Sales Monitoring & Reporting
o Monitor and report on sales performance metrics such as revenue, market share, and sales pipeline.
o Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
o Ensure the accurate use of CRM tools to track sales activities and outcomes.
5. Market Expansion & Development
o Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
o Work closely with marketing teams to design and execute regional campaigns.
o Develop strategies for growth within various sales channels, including digital, national, and wholesale.
6. Budget Management
o Manage the regional sales budget and forecast revenue and expenses accurately.
o Ensure adherence to financial guidelines and optimize spending.
o Monitor team expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness while meeting sales targets.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Strong administrative and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Previous experience managing sales teams and achieving/exceeding targets.
* Commercial acumen and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
* Strong experience working across various sales channels (digital, national, wholesale, independents).
* A relevant degree or diploma in nutrition, naturopathy, herbal medicine, or a related field is advantageous.
