Operations Supervisor
We are currently recruiting an Operations Supervisor for this heritage attraction and venue in central Dublin offering day tours and gala event space.
Key Responsibilities:
* E nsure the safety and proper presentation of premises and that all equipment is in good working order.
* E nsure the safety of all personnel, guests and suppliers on site.
* Provide support to the General Manager.
* Lead and support the operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Assist Welcome Desk Supervisor to ensure the Welcome Desk team delivers a warm welcome to all visitors.
* E nsure proper implementation of the Cash Handling policy.
* Assist with daily cash counts and daily finance reports.
* T ake charge of in-house events, acting as Event Supervisor for various events when required.
* A ttend to minor maintenance issues that may occur.
* Work with General Manager and other departments to ensure policies and procedures are correctly implemented, develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
* L ead by example and act as role model, championing the organisations values.
* A dress all visitor queries or concerns in a pleasant manner.
* M otivate team members to perform at their best.
* C ontinuously look for opportunities to improve operations.
* O ccasional operational cover as needed, ie Welcome Desk, Gift Shop, Events.
* K ey holder responsibilities.
* A ttend all required training (EPOS, First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling).
Requirements:
* Hospitality/Tourism graduate with previous experience in hospitality operations (Duty Management/Front Office/Guest Relations/Events), or an experienced hospitality operations supervisor.
* Previous cash handling experience.
* Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong customer focus.
* High attention to detail with good visual awareness and presentation skills.
* Excellent PC skills with good knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Flexible, innovative approach with keen analytical/problem solving ability.
* Excellent work/time management and organisational skills, able to work on own initiative as well as supporting the wider team.
* A high level of integrity and trust with confidential information.
* A pproachable and highly professional in manner, with all levels of staff within the organisation.
* N eat personal presentation essential.
