Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Plan, organize, and manage warehouse operations, monitor inventory levels, and develop operational policies.
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage warehouse staff, foster a positive work environment, and promote professional development.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, conduct safety inspections, and implement corrective actions.
* Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes, investigate inventory discrepancies, and address issues related to damaged goods.
* Inventory Management: Manage inventory control procedures, maintain stock accuracy, and minimize discrepancies.
* Process Improvement: Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse management or operations role, with at least 3-5 years in a similar position.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
* Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
